Kitchen Design Process

Planning is key to designing your perfect kitchen! Before you begin your kitchen project.

This is where you start building your 'wish list' to be incorporated into your design - your 'must-haves' and your 'dream items'.

Some things to think about:

How do you currently use your kitchen?     >   Do you need more space or storage?

Who will be using the kitchen?                     >  Number of people cooking / using the kitchen space?

How do want to use your kitchen?               >  Work area, family dining area, entertainment area?

Any special items to be accommodated?   > Crockery, appliances etc that must have a place?

Useful at your planing stage is to assemble your ideas in a folder or scrapbook; bits and pieces from magazines, websites or ideas from friends and family that appeal to you.

Our Kitchen Ideas page will provide you inspiration on different layouts, cabinets, fitting, hardware, benchtops, as well as colour options and finishes.

The next step to your new kitchen is book an appointment with our Kitchen Designer.

An initial complimentary consultation in our showroom provides us with a preliminary understanding of your requirements and desires (your 'wish-list'), while allowing you the opportunity to become familiar with our capabilities. During our first meeting, key information will be gathered from you regarding style preferences, functional requirements and budget.

It is helpful if you provide us your measurements, (Your house plans if you have them) and photos of your space.

The outcome of your kitchen design consultation is that we will develop a space plan layout of your kitchen, using our 3-D kitchen design software.  We will also provide an estimate of the cost of the design.

To finalise the design for your new dream kitchen, we now will obtain accurate measurements & evaluate your space (either from builders plans or by visiting your home). At this time your initial design is reviewed; we may advise improvements to better use the space, and usability of your kitchen, solve any technical build problems that may present themselves. You may may require changes to your kitchen and/or scope of the project. Once all revisions to your design have been made, we will provide you a 3-D Plan and fixed quote for the revised design.

On acceptance of the quote / contract for your new kitchen we will schedule your kitchen for production.

On the agreed install date our specialist team will professionally and expertly install your new kitchen.

We pride ourselves on our workmanship and guarantee all our kitchens and installations.
